As a medical student you get to observe the care offered by a wide range of doctors. From my brief experience with Mr. Khan, he appeared to be a very competent consultant. His communication skills were certainly above par, leading to excellent rapport with most of the patients. He was also able to create multiple learning opportunities for me in the clinic resulting in a very valuable introduction to ophthalmology.

In the time Mr Khan has been at our hospital he has been very supportive of the patients in his care, he always taken time out to explain everything to the patients and listen to any of the concerns and worries they may express. Nothing is to much trouble for him and he is a well liked and respected member of staff.

Routinely, he will go out of his way to make sure that his patient's needs are well taken care of. I saw Mr Khan almost 12 months ago at Hinchingbrooke hospital eye clinic and was extremely impressed with the way which he approached my diagnosis examination and his excellent patient communication. I was seen again by him yesterday and once again he at once put me at ease and exuded the confidence which all patients desire when visiting hospital namely that the expert is on their case and dealing in a very expert way with the problems which are presenting to them. Mr Khan is an expert in his field and we his patients are very fortunate to be under his care
